Holiday Ayo - An Israeli tourist couple was caught having sex in front of other tourists.

The two were arrested in Thailand on Tuesday (November 4th) after engaging in public sexual activity at Wang Sai Thong Waterfall on the popular island of Ko Pha Ngan.

As reported by Thaiger, the indecent incident was recorded and uploaded to social media, sparking outrage across the country.

Following the viral video, local police launched an investigation and tracked the couple to a nearby hotel.

They were arrested there by police and immigration officials and taken to the island's immigration office for questioning, according to a report by The Times of Israel.

Authorities stated that the couple admitted to being the individuals in the video and confirmed the sexual activity.

They were charged with public indecency and both were immediately transferred to police custody.

Police officials emphasized that the couple's behavior violated Thai law and demonstrated a lack of respect for local culture.

Tourism data shows that approximately 300,000 Israeli tourists visited Thailand between January and September this year, marking a 57 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

However, the Thai government has warned Israeli tourists to behave respectfully when visiting the Land of the White Elephant amid growing public frustration over their behavior.

Complaints about inappropriate behavior by Israeli tourists have reportedly increased in popular Thai destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Pai.
