Admits Monitoring Activities in Lebanon, Israel Claims to Kill Hezbollah Anti-Missile Commander
Holiday Ayo - Israel claims their military killed the commander of the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon who oversaw rocket and missile attacks today, Monday (4/11).
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the Hezbollah Commander in Baraachit, Abu Ali Rida, was "killed" as a result of their airstrike.
"[Rida] was responsible for planning and carrying out rocket and anti-tank missile attacks against IDF troops," said an official IDF release, quoted by AFP.
The IDF then said, "He also supervised the terrorist activities of Hezbollah operatives in the region."
However, Israel did not provide details on the exact time Ali Rida died. Israel has continued to pound Hezbollah since they announced intensive attacks on Lebanon in mid-September.
To date, Israeli attacks have killed more than 2,500 people. Hezbollah is not remaining silent.
They often respond to Israeli attacks and try to prevent Zionist troops from entering Lebanese territory.
On this day, Hezbollah also launched rockets at the City of Safed, Northern Israel. Israel Writes to the UN Wants to Get Out of the UNRWA Agreement "Hezbollah carried out a massive rocket attack on the city," Hezbollah was quoted as saying.
The death of Hezbollah's anti-missile commander came two months after the militia's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli attack.
