Al Naslaa, the Mysterious Perfect Split Stone Phenomenon in Saudi Arabia
Holiday Ayo - Al Naslaa, a rock formation in Saudi Arabia, holds a lot of mystery because of its perfectly split shape. Al Naslaa, located in the desert of Tayma, Saudi Arabia, is split with a gap in the middle that is very straight and precise.
Al Naslaa can be found in the middle of the desert that surrounds the Tayma Oasis. This pair of split stones is considered a geological mystery. The two stones are thought to have stood there for four millennia.
Al Naslaa is a pair of large sandstone on which two smaller stones are laid. These two stones are separated by a straight line gap, as if the two objects were one whole rock which was then split apart. The point of attention of many people when they see this stone is that the cleavage is so perfect as the result of laser work.
There is a lot of speculation about Al Naslaa circulating in cyberspace. Mainly because historians and geologists have not been able to explain this phenomenon. Some geologists suspect that the splitting of the two rocks was triggered by natural causes such as tectonic movements.

However, there are other scientists who believe that the gap in the middle of Al Naslaa was caused by a fault. Because the material around the fault usually tends to be weaker and then more easily eroded by rain.
There is also a theory that Al Naslaa is a dyke alias hardened volcanic embankment there. On the other hand, there are also wild theories about Al Naslaa which say that the stone is the work of an advanced ancient civilization or aliens.
Another uniqueness of Al Naslaa is the ancient paintings engraved on its surface. One of the Al Naslaa stones is decorated with simple drawings of horses and humans.
