Bobon Santoso, a content creator widely recognized for his large-scale cooking videos, has officially registered the copyright for his unique cooking content concept. This move comes in response to the increasing number of individuals imitating his concept without permission.

The copyright was registered through the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) under Indonesia's Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Bobon shared the news directly via a post on his personal Instagram account on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

In the post, Bobon issued a firm warning against those who plagiarize his work. He also included legal proof that his big-batch cooking content has been officially recognized as copyrighted intellectual property.

“Stop plagiarizing other people’s work! If this is ignored, we will pursue legal action,” Bobon wrote in the caption.

He emphasized that he now holds a strong legal foundation to take action against anyone who intentionally copies his content concept.

“As content creators, we must be creative. Warm regards from the People's Chef of Indonesia. Tag those who like to plagiarize,” he added.

Bobon’s bold statement quickly drew widespread support from netizens, many of whom praised his decision to protect his original work.
