Cremated in Japan, Barbie Hsu's ashes will be taken by her husband to Taiwan on February 6

Holiday Ayo - Barbie Hsu's ashes will reportedly be brought back to Taiwan on Thursday (6/2). DJ Koo as the husband is said to be the bearer of the ashes after Barbie Hsu is cremated in Japan. 

He will be accompanied by his sister-in-law, Dee Hsu. Dee Hsu is said to be staying a few more days in Tokyo to take care of his brother's funeral. 

 

Meanwhile, Mirror Media reported on Tuesday (4/2) that Huang Chunmei, the mother, would return to Taiwan first. 

 

Huang Chunmei had previously asked everyone to give the family time and space to be able to grieve and let go of Barbie Hsu.

 

This was conveyed by the mother through producer Wang Weizhong, a close relative including the person who invited Barbie Hsu to her son's wedding.

 

Wang Weizhong's child's wedding was an opportunity for Barbie Hsu to appear before so many people before she died.

 

Huang Chunmei also stated that her daughter had always been worried throughout her life because she was followed and even chased by reporters and many people.

 

So, the family emphasized that they would be given privacy when they returned home.

 

"When we return to Taiwan, please ask us not to follow us at the airport or on the road," emphasized the mother.

 

"That's something Barbie Hsu always wanted, but never got. I hope everyone can understand. Thank you."

 

Not only that, Huang Chunmei also apologized to all parties for not being able to respond one by one. He thanked all the attention and prayers for Barbie Hsu.

 

Barbie Hsu died on Sunday (2/2) at the age of 48. He breathed his last breath after contracting influenza which then caused his health to continue to decline, pneumonia and his death.

 

Dee Hsu as Barbie Hsu's sister on Monday (3/2) confirmed the sad news through her agency.

 

No details were provided other than to confirm Barbie Hsu died in Japan from pneumonia.

 

"Our whole family came to Japan on vacation, and my kindest and most beloved sister Barbie Hsu died of pneumonia caused by influenza and sadly left us," said Dee Hsu as reported by Taiwan Focus, Monday (3/2).
