Holiday Ayo - Head of Communications for the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Hasan Nasbi, explained the issue of budget efficiency with the analogy of the human body.

Hasan Nasbi emphasized that the budget savings instructions given by President Prabowo Subianto will not reduce the government's energy and capabilities.

He explained that efficiency was carried out to eliminate ineffective spending in the state budget. Hasan Nasbi called this fat in the APBN.

"So efficiency in accordance with President Prabowo's direction is like eliminating fat in our APBN spending but not reducing muscle so government power and government capacity will not be reduced," stressed Hasan in an official upload to the Instagram account @pco.ri, Thursday (13/2).

Hasan Nasbi also guaranteed several budget items that would not be affected by efficiency. Starting from employee salary posts, employee priority basic services, public services, to social assistance for the community.

"There are several criteria that are not actually affected by efficiency, such as employee salaries, employee priority basic services, public services and social assistance," said Hasan Nasbi.

If there is news or information that states that public services and the welfare of ASN are being disrupted due to massive budget efficiency, Hasan Nasbi says this is completely wrong.

"There are those who say that employee salaries will not be paid or that there will be a reduction in civil servants, so that is a 100% misinterpretation of what the president means, because the efficiency policy does not touch employee salaries, does not touch public services, and also does not touch social assistance assistance," explained Hasan Nasbi.
