Holiday Ayo - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) ordered the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir and the DKI Provincial Government to study the relocation of the Pertamina Depot in Plumpang following the fire. Jokowi said that there should be a study between the Plumpang depot being moved to Reclamation Island or the residents being relocated.

As cited from economy.okezone.com, Jokowi said there must be a safe distance between the Pertamina depot and residents' settlements. Considering that the Pertamina Depot is a vital state object that needs to be protected and has a safe place out of reach of the public.

"Because this is indeed a dangerous zone, it can no longer be lived in, but there must be a solution, it can be shifted (Depot) Plumpang to reclamation, or shifted residents to relocation," said President Jokowi, Sunday (5/3).

Regarding this matter, the president gave a deadline of one to two days to immediately take steps to decide on the two options. So that residents have safe and ideal housing to live in.

"I have ordered the Minister of BUMN and DKI Pemprov to immediately find a solution, because this is indeed a dangerous zone, but there must be a solution," said President Jokowi.

"Immediately it will be decided in a day or two, because this is a water zone, for rivers or currents, and also to protect the vital objects that we have," he concluded.
