For Muslims, knowing the schedule of Islamic holidays well in advance is crucial. Many need certain dates to plan their religious observances, arrange leave from work, prepare for their homecoming, and even organize religious activities within their families and communities.
In this regard, on October 14, 2025, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), through the Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance (Bimas Islam), released the 2026 Indonesian Hijri calendar.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs for Aceh Province, the 2026 Indonesian Hijri calendar includes information from January to December 2026.
It also includes the calendar from Rajab 1447 Hijri to Jumadil Akhir 1448 Hijri.

According to the Islamic Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the joint leave for Eid al-Adha 1447 AH will last two days, on May 28 and 29, 2026.
The Joint Decree of the Three Ministers only covers one day, on May 28, 2026.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the dates for Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH and Eid al-Adha 1447 AH listed in the calendar above are only estimates, based on the hisab method.
