More Struggling with Injuries, Al Hilal Officially Terminates Neymar Jr's Contract

Holiday Ayo - Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal announced that it had agreed with Neymar to terminate the cooperation contract on Monday (27/1) local time.
"Al Hilal and Neymar Jr have agreed to terminate the player's contract by mutual consent. Thank you and good luck, Neymar," Al Hilal said in a statement, Tuesday (28/1).
Neymar was bought by Al Hilal from Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in the summer of 2023. At that time, Neymar was bought for 90 million Euros, or now equivalent to IDR 1.5 trillion.
The price was a record for the most expensive player purchase in the Saudi Arabian League. Neymar also received a large salary of 80 million Euros per year or equivalent to IDR 1.3 trillion.
However, Neymar has been struggling more with his injuries than playing at Al Hilal. Neymar has only played seven times since joining, scoring one goal and three assists.
Since being bought, Neymar has still had a muscle injury. Only a month after recovering, Neymar suffered an ACL injury while playing for the Brazilian National Team.
At the end of last year, Neymar returned to the treatment room due to a hamstring injury. Signs that Neymar would leave Al Hilal were already visible, when he was not included in the squad list in the league.
Neymar is then known to be returning home to Brazil. He is rumored to be joining Santos, although rumors are that Inter Miami is interested in him.
