Salad sauce is one of the 'luxury' foods for vegetable lovers. Amazingly this food has been around for a long time. This became known after salad dressing was found in a shipwreck in the Aegean Sea in 2004.
A salad dressing jar dating from 350 BC was discovered. Tests were carried out on the jar. The results revealed a mixture of olive oil and oregano was in it.

In 2010, divers discovered 168 bottles of champagne among shipwrecks at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. The champagne is over 170 years old, making it the oldest drinkable champagne in the world.
The champagne has been preserved in almost perfect condition so that it can be tasted and drunk, and it provides important evidence of how champagne and alcohol were made in the 19th century.
Those who tasted the champagne said that it was very sweet, perhaps because it contained 140 grams of sugar per liter, compared to 6-8 grams (sometimes none at all) in modern champagne.
