Prabowo Boasts of 81 Percent Public Satisfaction with His Government's Performance, What's Up with the Issue of Budget Efficiency?

Holiday Ayo - President Prabowo Subianto boasted of the results of his government's 100 working day survey which achieved 81 percent public satisfaction.

According to him, this achievement exceeds the number of voters in the 2024 presidential election, which is at 58 percent.

“I am very grateful that the Indonesian people have accepted our efforts. With an approval rate of 81 percent for my government in the first 100 days. A figure that far exceeds the percentage of voters who voted for me in the last election," said Prabowo while speaking online at the World Governments Summit 2025 forum, Dubai, Thursday (13/2).

Prabowo said he was increasingly enthusiastic and optimistic about continuing his mandate and responsibilities.

The general chairman of the Gerindra Party is confident that the community will fully support him.

"I realize that the Indonesian people fully support this strategic transformation agenda," he said.

Prabowo also said that people's trust and optimism inspired him to continue his work. One of them is ensuring that every Indonesian citizen benefits from progress built together.

He emphasized that keeping people's costs of living stable after the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world is his government's main priority.

"Keeping the cost of living under control remains a top priority, because only by ensuring that every citizen enjoys a decent quality of life can we gain broader popular support for our grand vision," he said.

The results of the Kompas R&D survey showed that 80.9 percent of the public were satisfied with the performance of the first 100 days of Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's administration.

Meanwhile, 19.1 percent said they were dissatisfied. The Kompas R&D survey was conducted on 4-10 January 2025 involving 1,000 respondents who were randomly selected and spread throughout Indonesia.

Then the Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) poll recorded a level of respondent satisfaction of up to 81.4 percent regarding the 100 working days of the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet.

Of this level of satisfaction, 18.8 percent said they were very satisfied and 62.6 percent said they were quite satisfied.

The remaining 14.9 percent said they were not satisfied and 0.6 percent were not satisfied at all.
