The name of former Head of the National Police’s Professional and Security Division (Kadiv Propam), Ferdy Sambo, has once again drawn public attention following the circulation of a video showing his activities inside a correctional facility.

Through a post shared by the Threads account @ferdysambo_official, Ferdy Sambo was seen participating in and leading a prayer fellowship service at the Class IIA Cibinong Correctional Facility in West Java on Friday, December 12, 2025. In the footage, the inmate serving a life sentence is shown standing at the pulpit, leading praise and collective prayers alongside hundreds of fellow inmates.

It is known that the Class IIA Cibinong Correctional Facility organized a Praise and Worship service for Christian inmates as part of preparations for the Christmas celebration. The event was held in cooperation with the Oikumene Terang Dunia Church.

During the religious activity, Ferdy Sambo took part as one of the inmates attending the service and also assumed a role in leading praise and prayers together with other participants.
