Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal, an interesting temple in the Monkey Forest

Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal is an interesting tourist attraction in Bali. The location is on Jalan Monkey Forest, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali and can be reached in around 40 minutes from downtown Denpasar. It is estimated that this temple was built around 1350 and was used as a place of prayer for Hindus.

The second temple is called Pura Beji. The location is southwest of the Ubud monkey forest area. Beji Temple is designated as a place of worship for the goddess Ganga. The people of Padang Tegal village, before carrying out religious ceremonies, will ask for holy water at the Beji temple, intended for purification.

The third temple located in the area northeast of the Ubud monkey forest is Pura Prajapati, dedicated to worshiping the god Prajapati.
