Holiday Ayo - Malang City is the second largest city in East Java after Surabaya. Reporting from the Malang City Government website, at the beginning of independence, Malang City was listed as being nominated to become the capital of the Republic of Indonesia.

For those who want to relax for a moment from the fatigue of the city, here are the natural tourist destinations in Malang that can soothe the eyes: 

1. Coban Jahe

The name "Coban Jahe" comes from Javanese, where "Coban" means waterfall and "Jahe" means ginger, which refers to the surrounding area which used to grow a lot of ginger plants.  

Coban Jahe is located in a mountainous area, providing a cool and natural atmosphere. Apart from enjoying the cold waterfall, here you can also go hiking, trekking, taking photos or having a picnic. 

To reach Coban Jahe, you can use private vehicles or public transportation from Malang City. The journey to the location involves a winding and climbing route, but the views presented during this journey are very satisfying.  

After reaching the parking area, visitors must continue the journey by walking for about 30 minutes through the forest path to reach the waterfall. 

2. Banyu Beach Falls 

Banyu Anjlok Beach offers beautiful sea views with clean white sand and clear sea water. The waves at this beach are relatively calm, making it suitable for swimming and playing in the water. 

One of the main attractions of this beach is a small waterfall that flows directly into the sea. This waterfall comes from a river flowing from the surrounding mountains.  

Watching this waterfall fall into the sea while enjoying the sound of crashing waves certainly provides a memorable experience. 

3. Wonosari Tea Garden 

Wonosari Tea Garden offers a stretch of green and will-maintained tea plantations. The neat rows of tea plants and mountains that surround this area create a stunning and calming view.  

This view is very suitable for taking photos or walking around the tea plantation. There are walking paths that make it easy for visitors to explore the garden area while enjoying the fresh air and green views. 

In the tea garden area there are also several cafeterias or restaurants that serve food and drinks made from local ingredients. Visitors can enjoy fresh tea picked directly from the garden.
