SpaceX Explodes in Space as Debris Rain in Caribbean

Holiday Ayo - SpaceX's Starship rocket failed in its seventh test flight at Starbase in South Texas on Thursday (16/1) local time.
Now, SpaceX's Starship spacecraft has exploded in space just minutes after being launched from Texas, United States (US).
The destruction of the SpaceX aircraft triggered a shower of debris in the Caribbean area and forced the US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) to suspend air traffic in parts of Florida.
This is the second consecutive failure experienced by the Mars rocket program from SpaceX owned by famous billionaire Elon Musk, who is now also a confidant of President Donald Trump.
A number of videos uploaded to social media, as reported by Reuters, Friday (7/3), showed debris covered in flames streaking across the twilight sky near southern Florida and the Bahamas on Thursday (6/3) after the Starship exploded and disintegrated in space.
According to SpaceX's live stream, the explosion occurred shortly after the aircraft began spinning uncontrollably with part of its engine detached.
The eighth failed test for Starship comes more than a month after a seventh test also ended in an explosion.
The spate of incidents in an early mission phase that SpaceX has previously easily surpassed is a setback for a program that Musk has been trying to accelerate this year.
The 403-foot-long rocket system is the centerpiece of Musk’s plan to send humans to Mars by the turn of the decade.
The FAA has issued a shutdown order at airports in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Orlando due to "space launch debris".
The FAA said it has launched an investigation into the incident. The rocket took off from SpaceX's sprawling rocket facility in Boca Chica, Texas, at around 6:30 p.m. local time on Thursday (3/6).
The Super Heavy first-stage booster successfully returned to Earth as planned and was caught in mid-air by a SpaceX crane.
But minutes later, a live stream showed the upper stage of the Starship spinning in space, while a visualization of the rocket's engines showed several engines shutting down. SpaceX's control tower then lost contact with the craft.
