Every year, Spotify releases a list of the most successful music and musicians throughout the year. The data is no doubt a picture of which singers have successfully dominated the global music market.

The first position of the best-selling artist in 2024 according to Spotify is Taylor Swift. Her songs have been recorded as having been listened to by 26.6 billion global Spotify users.

Amazingly, Swift also ranked first in the Top 10 Artist Globally nominations in 2023.

In addition, several of Taylor Swift's songs have also made it into other nominations, such as "Cruel Summer" ranked 9th in Top Songs Globally and "Lover" ranked 8th in Top Albums Globally.

One rank below Taylor Swift is The Weeknd with 117.3 million people listening to his songs every month. Followed by Bad Bunny, a rapper known as the "King of Latin Trap" whose songs have been listened to by 65 million people every month.
