Three Mount Sibayak Climbing Routes, Choose According to Your Ability!

Holiday Ayo - There are many mountains in Indonesia that are interesting to explore, one of which is Mount Sibayak.

This mountain, which is located in Karo Regency, reaches a height of 2212 meters above sea level.

The beautiful natural scenery makes it no wonder that many climbers choose Mount Sibayak as their hiking spot.

There are several routes to this beautiful mountain that you can choose according to your individual abilities and preferences, here are some of them.

1. Mountain Spirit Village or Raja Berneh Village

For beginners, the Gunung Gunung Village route is an alternative route to Mount Sibayak. However, you need to be careful because the terrain is quite neat and not too steep.

The climb via this route is relatively fast, because it only takes around 2-3 hours to reach the top.

Then, along the journey, this route offers views of lush forests and hot springs at the foot of the mountain.

2. Jaranguda Village Hiking Route

In second place, there is a climbing route via Jaranguda Village which is quite popular among climbers.

This route is longer than the Mountain Spirit Village route, but access is quite easy.  Therefore, you have to prepare more stamina to pass this route.

The natural panorama is no less beautiful than other routes.

3. Hiking Trail 54

Route 54 is the most difficult route and is only recommended for experienced climbers. This route, which is located in Dulu II Village, has steep terrain and is quite challenging, so the climb can take 4-6 hours.

If you are not a professional climber, then avoid this route. It is better to use the Spirit Village and Jaranguda Village routes.
