Telo Terie is a fried food that is ery easy to find if you are in Indonesia, for only 500 rupiah you can enjoy 1 piece of fried cassava. So, what makes Telo Terie, this is different from Fried Cassava/Cheesy Cassava. Surinamese people usually eat Telo Terie with dipping sauce such as peanut sauce, and the most unique thing is adding anchovy topping, which is shredded and then cooked with spicy balado spices/dry fried. so it has become a snack for Surinamese people, for hanging out in cafes or restaurants. Unlike fried cassava in Indonesia, you can only find it on the side of the road/market.
