United Tractors Wins 3 Awards at the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2024 Event

Holiday Ayo - PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) won three awards at the Asian level. The award was given because UT was considered successful in fostering a culture of sustainability in the organization by creating a positive work environment and prioritizing employee welfare. 

Business Media International (BMI) named UT as the best workplace in Asia at the HR Asia Best Companies To Work for in Asia 2024 event at the Ritz Carlton Pacific Place Hotel.

 

The award was handed over directly by Group Publisher/Editor-in-Chief BMI, Datuk William NG to Human Capital and Sustainability Director, Edhie Sarwono, Corporate Human Capital and Corporate University Division Head Abun Jufar Jaya, and Organization Productivity and Cost Control Department Head Nurdiansyah Budiman. 

 

Edhie said that this achievement encouraged the company to increase the implementation of the 3P Roadmap. 

 

“We express our gratitude for the prestigious award given. This award is a motivation for the UT Group to improve the implementation of 3P, namely Portfolio Business, People, and Public Contribution Roadmap," said Edhie as quoted by Kompas.com, Saturday (7/6). 

 

Edhie hopes that UT can be a driver for other companies in the UT Group to inspire and grow for the better. 

 

In this award, UT won three categories, namely the Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2024, HR Asia Sustainable Workplace Award 2024, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award 2024. 

 

In the category of best workplace in Asia, UT demonstrate efforts to pay attention to employee welfare, health and balance. 

 

The sustainable workplace category indicates the company's responsibility towards the environment and sustainable business practices, promoting environmentally friendly innovation, and providing a positive impact on the environment and society. 

 

Meanwhile, the DEI category refers to UT's commitment to creating an inclusive and equal work environment through a culture of empathy and caring within the organization. 

 

The award's assessment process involves comprehensive steps, including online employee surveys, office visits, presentations and audits. 

 

For your information, BMI is an international publication media institution for professionals in the field of human resources (HR) which measures companies' efforts to implement human resources (HR) practices by showing high levels of employee involvement and an excellent workplace culture. 

 

Apart from Indonesia, BMI also holds awards in 12 other countries, such as Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, UAE, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
