Visit the Deepest Hotel in the World

Holiday Ayo - Have you ever imagined staying in a hotel with no windows and no view at all? Such hotels are indeed not suitable for those who have a phobia of narrow spaces, but hotels like that exist.

The deepest hotel in the world is in Snowdonia, Victoria, North Wales. Different from other hotels, this place is hidden 419 meters underground, in a former abandoned mine.

The hotel, named Deep Sleep, was founded by the founder of Go Below Miles Molding, which presents off-grid adventures. Miners made this hotel out of slate over a century ago.

However, your tiredness will pay off after arriving at the hotel. Where guests will immediately be served expedition-style food to be enjoyed at a large picnic table. Guests also will not be left just like that afterwards. The instructor and technical staff members will remain in the cabin, ready to prepare breakfast the following morning.

As cited from Country Living, after finishing eating, guests will be invited to climb back to the surface.

"The journey to reach it (the innermost part of the hotel) is an adventure in itself. A journey of more than an hour through tunnels and holes carved by slate miners," said Deep Sleep.

Experienced and qualified Go Below travel instructors will guide guests. They will show you some interesting sights complete with the history of the mine, to the lives of the miners.

Meanwhile, to stay at the deepest hotel in the world, you have to spend £ 350 for two people, or IDR 6.6 million.
