Visited by Erdogan, Prabowo: I should have gone to Turkiye first

Prabowo admitted that he should have made a state visit to Turkiye first.
“Today it is a great honor for us to receive Your Excellency's visit to Indonesia. I should have been the first to come on an official visit to Turkiye because President Erdogan is senior in terms of service, a senior President. But I am grateful for Your Excellency's arrival," said Prabowo, Wednesday (12/2).
Prabowo said that this bilateral meeting was also a commemoration of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Turkiye.
According to him, the two countries are close enough that they have a deep inner relationship.
"This year is the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Turkiye. Moreover, relations between Indonesia and Turkiye have been around for quite a long time since the time of the Ottoman Empire, so the inner relationship between us is quite deep," said Prabowo.
For your information, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on a state visit to Indonesia on February 11-12.
Erdogan paid a state visit at the Bogor Presidential Palace today. During his visit, Erdogan held a tete-a-tete meeting with Prabowo.
The two of them then held a bilateral meeting which was attended by delegations from ministers from both countries.
