Balikita Korean Mart, the First Korean-style Minimarket in Bali that Serves Various Korean Foods

For lovers of Korean drama or K-Pop in Bali, there is interesting news. For those who want to taste food or drinks from South Korea, now in Bali, there is a Korean mini-market.
As the 1st Korean Mart in Bali, Kios Bali Kita which is located on Patih Jelantik Street, Kuta Galeria Palace Complex or better known as Kuta Central Park is here to present a Korean feel in Kuta Bali.
The Balikita Korean Mart supermarket is quite spacious, unique, and comfortable, selling various types of Korean-style instant noodles or commonly called ramyun and ramyeon which are imported immediately from their country of origin. Not only that but there are also various types of kimchi brands, frozen food, and other Korean ingredients.
In addition to selling Korean food ingredients, at the Bali Kita stall, they also sell K-pop merchandise, cosmetics and even sell traditional Korean clothing, namely Hanbok. For fans of Korean alcoholic drinks known as soju, here also sell various types of soju brands with many flavor variants.
Balikita Korean Mart also provides ramyun and ramyeon cooking services, so if you wish to taste the instant ramyun and ramyeon you bought, you only need to pay the IDR 10,000 fee and you can enjoy delicious food with alternative toppings of egg, sausage, chikuwa, or sliced toppoki.
The presentation is also quite unique because it is served immediately with a small pot like we commonly see in Korean dramas.

The street food corner cart in collaboration with our Balinese kiosk has opened a special corner at the front of the shop offering various types of Korean-style snacks such as Sotteok, corndogs, Korean honey fried chicken Kkuldak, mandu, maeun dakbal, beef bulgogi, Korean Pork Belly, and spicy chicken with a price range of IDR 25,000 – IDR 38,000 / portion.
K-Mie Bali, one of the street food corner partners, offers Jjajangmyeon noodle dishes with black bean sauce, Tangsuyuk chicken with sweet and sour seasoning, Tteokbokki rice cake cooked with Korean-style gochujang sauce, Jjampong noodles with spicy seafood sauce, gimbab, and rice bowls with a price range of IDR 17,000 – IDR 28,000 / portion.
Drinks are also quite varied, ranging from iced coffee, iced chocolate, lemon, and various flavored teas.
Here also offers a menu of soju cocktails, which is a mixture of soju with Yakult or various fruit flavors.

The walls of the shop are decorated with lots of posters of Korean male artists and film actors, the atmosphere of the street food corner that makes us feel like we are in Korea is definitely interesting to create a photo backdrop.

The location of Balikita Korean Mart is very strategic and easy to find, the closest accommodation that is still in the same area as this area is Kuta Central Park Hotel with rates ranging from IDR 300,000 – IDR 600,000/night.
To get here, if you start the journey from Ngurah Rai airport, it will take approximately 10 minutes with a distance of 7 km, just follow the By Pass Ngurah Rai road then turn left towards Loyal Budi Street, continue Kuta Highways, turn left on Patih Jelantik Street.
