The Reason why Bali is Still a Destination for Domestic Tourists

Holiday Ayo - For the umpteenth time, Bali has been selected as the most popular tourist destination in the world by the TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award 2023.
During the 2023 Eid holiday period, Bali experienced an increase in occupancy by up to 2x compared to the same period last year.
“Bali is increasingly becoming a favorite destination for domestic tourists this Eid holiday. We are optimistic that we will see this trend again next year, in line with RedDoorz's efforts to continue to develop properties in various segments, one of which is The Lavana, RedDoorz's new hotel network for the categories of villas, cottages, bungalows to resorts in Bali," said VP Operations & Multi-Brand RedDoorz Indonesia, Adil Mubarak as reported by suara.com.
The trend of increasing tourists to Bali was influenced by the government's decision to extend the Idul Fitri holiday and joint leave which triggered the movement of domestic tourists.
Data from the Bali Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) also stated that the number of domestic tourist visits to Bali during the 2023 Eid holiday period reached 18 thousand people per day, an increase of 100 percent from the previous year which only reached 7 thousand people per day.
RedDoorz Regional VP Marketing, Henry Manampiring said that this Eid holiday in 2023 brought blessings for them. Henry said, their income during this year's Eid holiday increased by up to 2x compared to last year's Eid holiday.
The significant increase in RedDoorz's revenue was contributed by the expansion of RedDoorz's hotel network, namely SANS, UrbanView, Sunerra and The Lavana. The four brands under this platform are not only of interest to budget travelers, but also to a wider market segment, from families to business travelers.
In total, currently there are more than 3,200 RedDoorz properties spread across 257 cities with a significant growth in multi-brand properties of 316%, a 3x increase from the previous year. This growth in the number of properties has also affected the addition of new RedDoorz users this year by more than 100% or doubled.
"Our efforts to expand market segmentation beyond budget travelers are welcomed by people who take advantage of this year's Eid holiday in various property segments," explained Henry Manampiring, Regional VP Marketing at RedDoorz.
