The Molas Shipwreck lies at a depth between 22 meters at the bow, and 41 meters at the stern. You can still find an intact propeller on the bottom. Obviously, this is a pretty “serious” dive with very little bottom time. The marine life is also pretty spectacular: snappers, schools of batfish, and the occasional reef shark roam the wreck. In the past, the wreckage was a German ship that sank around the 40s on Molas Beach.
2. Mandolin Dive Site

Mandolin dive site is a wall going deep down with large steps. On the bottom of the wall, there are numerous small caves where many fishes live but always be careful with the current like everywhere around Bunaken Island, it can be quite strong on this dive site! The top of the reef is very interesting and it is like heaven for macro photographers, perfect to finish this dive on shallow water.
The specialty of this dive site is its high coral walls and naturally occurring peaks. The giant coral is also a habitat for various kinds of fish and marine life ranging from bannerfish, unicornfish to surgeonfish. In addition, you can find seabed caves which are quite safe to visit while diving.
