Elected Unopposed! Budi Arie Reappointed as Projo Chairman for 2025–2030 Term
The Projo volunteer organization has officially reappointed Budi Arie Setiadi as its Chairman for the 2025–2030 term. The decision was made during the 3rd Projo Congress held at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta, on Sunday (November 2, 2025).
Budi Arie’s re-election was decided unanimously through acclamation by all congress participants. The plenary session, led by Freddy Damanik, formally announced the decision.
“Based on the unanimous agreement of all participants at the 3rd Projo Congress, Budi Arie Setiadi is officially appointed as Chairman of the Projo Central Executive Board (DPP Projo) for the 2025–2030 term,”
Freddy declared.
“Agreed,” he added, to which the congress attendees responded with collective approval.
The 3rd Projo Congress, held over two days from November 1–2, 2025, marked a crucial moment in defining the future direction of the volunteer organization, which is widely recognized for its support of President Joko Widodo.
In a previous statement, Budi Arie revealed that Projo would undergo an organizational transformation, including a potential change to its logo, which has long featured the image of President Jokowi.
