Islamic scholar Ahmad Mahrus Iskandar, widely known as Gus Mahrus, has confirmed that Inara Rusli and Insanul Fahmi have officially entered into a siri marriage (an unregistered religious marriage).

Previously, Inara Rusli was suspected of being a third party in the marriage of Insanul Fahmi, who at that time was still legally married to Wardatina Mawa. Wardatina later conducted her own investigation into allegations of infidelity, which led to Fahmi being named a suspect in an adultery case and reported to authorities.

As public scrutiny intensified, online speculation spread rapidly, with many netizens claiming that Inara and Fahmi had already married in secret — especially after Fahmi openly stated his desire to practice polygamy.

The speculation was eventually addressed by Gus Mahrus through a post on Instagram. Responding to a question from a user regarding the couple’s current relationship status, Gus Mahrus confirmed that Inara and Fahmi had indeed undergone a siri marriage.

However, Gus Mahrus emphasized that any further inquiries regarding the legitimacy and details of the marriage should be postponed until official clarification is provided directly by Inara Rusli and Insanul Fahmi.
